Hazy shade of ______!

Winter is on it's way again, and I don't feel too badly about it because I, once again, feel the urge to knit lovely things. I'm quite happy actually, and also glad to find that I haven't lost"it". I did try to knit in summer but that just doesn't go quite yet - this is the first year since I've been here that I didn't chop off all my hair at the first ray of summer sunshine, so one thing at a time. "Wool? ugh!", I think to myself in the steamy months of august july. I don't know how Ele does it. My fingers nearly curl up at the thought of touching something so warm and fluffy.

But that's summer. Now I sit with my room strewn with choice, colourful balls of yarn, knitting needles galore (watch where you sit!) and i glory in the autumn weather.
My moods and energies seem to echo its unpredictability, for one second I'm bouncing around on an energy high after finally getting those darn booties right, and the next hour I'm lying around half-comatose, wanting to sleeeep. My body blooms with a pale violet of a bruise on my upper and outer left thigh - fromme bumping into the jutting out oil heater, which reminds me we're going to need it soon, and my mouth is temperamental too - there at the back revealing a crowning sliver-moon of a tooth, a late bloomer like most wisdom teeth. It appears a bit dark, peeking out between split and reddened gum. I suppose the fact that it is being born with an infection around it doesn't help. Regular rinsing with corsodyl and corsodyl gel seem to be helping, and hopefully i won't need the Antiwhatsits the dentist wanted to prescribe originally.

the darn booties are for my newborn second cousin, Be'eri Eli. He deserves them, he's so darn cute.
